Direct TV and Grey, New York have made these exaggerated and hilarious TV ads, which show what happens when you make bad decisions.
The message, regardless of the sense of humour, is quiet clear - Get rid of cable and upgrade to DIRECTV and avoid awful things (such as having hundreds of stray animals, an eye patch or a troublesome daughter). Guess Direct TV truely believes that exaggeration enhances understanding:
Country Life: The Great British Picnic App - Relevant & Usable
This summer, the English butter brand Country Life from Dairy Crest wanted to get Britain back where it belongs - out on a blanket enjoying the summer time with lovely picnis.
Therefore Grey, London was chosen to help introduce the world’s first and only App dedicated to picnics. The app was from the beginning thought to add value to the british consumers and thus to me is one of the best cases among many terrible and irrelevant apps during times of true app-mania.
The free Great British Picnic App covers every aspect of an picnic escape out in the open air, including weather forecasts, games, illustrated bird & cloud spotting guides, nature’s first aid remedies, iphoto treasure hunts, augmented reality maps and the ability to add your own favourite spot to over 1000 spots already reviewed and rated across the country.
The idea and app seems to be completely in alignment with the brand and the brand values and the following introduction also reveals quite amazing results.
